A big "thank you" to the Greater Augusta Arts Council for a wonderful evening at the 40th Annual Augusta Arts Awards Gala. I was the recipient of the "2025 Arts Educator Award."

Augusta's Arts scene rocks, so to be included in the conversation is a huge honor.

I'm going to take a moment to say thank you to the people who make this journey worthwhile:

-Fantastic students who work hard to create amazing new worlds, new characters, and new stories. Keep Stargazing for the Amazing!

-My colleagues in Art and Design, Pamplin, and the rest of Augusta University. These are brilliant people doing great work. I moved to Augusta to build an Animation program because I believed in the vision Scott Thorp had for this department. It's been an incredible 7 years and our best is on the horizon.

-The CSRA community. Keep celebrating Animation and the Arts. We love collaborating with you!

-And of course, my family who have moved mountains to support me. My wife, my kids, my parents, my sister, and my extended family. I love you all!
