I'm thrilled that I had the chance to give two presentations at DragonCon in the Animation Track this year. This was a major milestone achievement for me and something I've wanted to do for a long time. I love geeking out over animation, especially around fellow nerds.
DragonCon, like most conventions, moved to an online format this year. Still, it was an amazing chance to talk shop about animation. The first presentation, Visualization in Animation, covered some of the more recent technical achievements for how animation skillsets can convey important information. The second talk, Jobs in the Animation Industry, covered in-depth what the jobs in the industry are, where they're at, and how to get one.
